Amsterdam

Complete Travel Guide

Amsterdam is one of the most popular destinations in Europe, famous for its canals, history, culture, and nightlife. In this Amsterdam travel guide, we share how to get around the city, where to stay, and what to do during your visit.

It’s also one of the most popular destinations in Europe among young travelers. In addition to its canals, art, culture, and history, Amsterdam is also known for its adult-oriented entertainment scene, including legalized prostitution, brothels, strip clubs, sex shops, and the well-known coffeeshops where cannabis and psychedelic truffles can legally be purchased and consumed.

Without a doubt, it’s a destination that deserves a spot on your travel checklist.

Our Experience in Amsterdam

One of the cities where we had the most fun during our entire trip around Europe.

While we loved visiting the Red Light District and the festivals we attended, both things you definitely shouldn’t miss, we also discovered a beautiful city with impressive architecture, small cafés, parks, and charming local shops.

We especially enjoyed walking around the quieter neighborhoods during the day.

We highly recommend taking these kinds of aimless walks and seeing what you discover along the way.
