Our trip through Indonesia took us to Bali, Lombok, and the Gili Islands, and it was a very special journey for us.

While we were living in Australia, Indonesia was a fairly affordable destination and we had been planning the trip since our first month there… but life got in the way, and we only managed to do it at the very end of our time in Australia. That’s why it was a trip we had been really looking forward to, and it ended up being the perfect finale to our honeymoon.

For this destination, we were mainly looking to rest and relax: enjoy good food, get massages, and slow down after working so much in Australia. Of course, the adventurous side was still there, and we also took the opportunity to explore, get around by scooter, and discover different landscapes.

We were left wanting to explore much more of Indonesia and experience its culture more deeply, so we already know we’ll be back.
